The knot on seats in alliances has not been unravelled yet. The game of calculations is going on. Meanwhile, for NDA, RLMO’s national president Upendra Kushwaha has put forward a formula in front of the leaders. If, for some reason, Kushwaha’s formula is accepted, then LJP, Ram Vilas are expected to get 20 to 21 seats, RLMO 11 to 12 and HAM party 10 to 11 seats.

Upendra Kushwaha proposes that if the BJP and JDU contest on 100 seats each, then the remaining 43 seats should be divided according to the seats won in the 2015 assembly elections. Anyway, in the 2015 assembly elections, the BJP and the JDU were in separate electoral frays.

NDA included parties like BJP, HAM, RLSP and LJP. BJP contested on 160 seats. While LJP contested on 40 seats, RLSP on 23 seats and Hindustani Awam Morcha on 20 seats.

LJP had 48% of the 83 seats

For information, let us tell you that in 2015, LJP was given 48% of the total 83 seats. RLSP was given 28% and HAM party was given 24% seats. Upendra Kushwaha had also suggested implementing this formula. If this formula is applied to the remaining 43 seats after the BJP and JDU contest 100 seats each, then LJP will get 21 seats. RLSP is expected to get 12 seats and HAM 10 seats.
