Namo Bharat Loyalty Points for Complimentary Trips: Namo Bharat train passengers now have a chance to travel for free under a new loyalty program. The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has introduced this scheme to reward frequent travelers. Although free tickets are available, there are some conditions and procedures that passengers need to adhere to to claim their free rides.
How to Earn Free Rides on Namo Bharat
The loyalty scheme enables commuters to earn points depending on the amount they spend on Namo Bharat train tickets. Commuters will earn one loyalty point for every ₹1 spent. The points can be redeemed for free travel in the future.
Value of Loyalty Points and Redemption Criteria
Every loyalty point is worth 10 paise. When a passenger has a minimum of 300 points, they can exchange the points for a free journey. This implies that 300 points are worth ₹30, which can be used to purchase train tickets. Passengers also have the benefit of exchanging the maximum of five trips at one time for convenience.
Loyalty Points Validity and Credit Process
Upon redemption, the free rides will be valid for a period of seven days. National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) users will receive the loyalty points credited to them on a daily basis, which will be credited to their accounts the following day.
Redeeming Loyalty Points via the Namo Bharat App
Namo Bharat app gives travelers a convenient method to monitor and redeem their points of loyalty. If a traveler purchases tickets worth ₹100, he/she will receive 100 points, which will be worth ₹10. These points can be verified at ticket vending machines, ticket readers, and ticket counters.
To redeem points through the app, do the following:
- Open the Namo Bharat App on your mobile.
- Go to the “Account” section at the bottom of the screen.
- Click on “Loyalty Points”, where the total points available in your account will be displayed.
- Tap on the “Redeem” option on the same page.
- Select “Namo Bharat” as your travel option.
- Choose the starting and destination stations for your journey.
- The total fare for the selected route will be displayed. Click on “Pay”.
- On the payment page, select the option to use loyalty points.
- Once you click on the redeem button, the equivalent points will be deducted, and you will be awarded your free ticket.

New users who download the Namo Bharat app as part of a special offer will get 500 bonus loyalty points, which is worth ₹50. The points can be used immediately to reserve tickets for free travel.
