MP Monsoon Alert: Since the monsoon arrived in Madhya Pradesh, heavy rains have broken all records in many parts, causing widespread concern. According to a report, 99 mm of water was expected to fall in the state from 1 to 26, but more than this, 136.2 mm of rain has fallen. According to this, there has been approximately 38 per cent more rain than usual.

Monsoon rains are still occurring in many areas of the state, resulting in a critical situation with widespread waterlogging. Clouds have been camping in Bhopal and surrounding areas since morning, resulting in drizzle at many locations. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a rain alert has been issued in more than 30 districts of the state.

Possibility of rain in these districts of MP

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued for Jhabua and Alirajpur on Friday. Apart from these, a heavy rain warning has been issued in Rajgarh, Vidisha, Raisen, Sagar, Damoh, and Seoni. An orange alert for rain has also been issued here. Apart from these, a heavy rain warning has been issued in Umaria, Dindori, Mandla and Balaghat. Heavy rain warning has also been issued in many districts, including MP’s capital Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Jabalpur and Gwalior.

According to the Meteorological Department, a cyclone is developing in the northeastern areas, which is also causing a trough to pass through the southern regions. Due to this, a period of rain is being seen here. A heavy rain alert has been issued for the next 5 days. On Saturday, an avalanche occurred in Bhind, Morena, and heavy rain was reported. Heavy rainfall and thunderstorms have been issued in other districts of MP.

How did the monsoon come t toe?

The monsoon entered India via Kerala on May 2424. After this, the monsoon clouds reached Karnataka, then knocked on Goa and Maharashtra from Tamil Nadu. After this, it entered MP on June 16 via Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, and Andhra Pradesh. Four days later, i.e. by June 20, the monsoon became active in all the districts of MP. Now the entire state is under the grip of rain.
