Weather Update: The outbreak of severe heat has been seen in many parts of the country since the month of March, but some states are still cloudy. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is also expected, along with cloudy weather in Delhi-NCR, UP, Uttarakhand, Himachal Jammu and Kashmir. At present, there is no possibility of rain in Bihar. There are also some states where heavy rain continues. From today, i.e. March 13, the period of rain will start again in most of the areas of North-West India. This will provide relief to the heat wave areas.

Delhi weather

The mood of the weather in the capital, Delhi, is changing at this time. According to the Meteorological Department, today i.e. March 13, it will be partly cloudy, and along with this, there is a possibility of drizzle at night. Apart from this, today, the minimum temperature can be recorded at 17 degrees Celsius, and the temperature during the day is 34 degrees.

Warning of rain and snowfall in the mountains

According to Skymet’s forecast, light to moderate rain and snowfall with thunder and lightning are expected in the western Himalayan region from today till March 16. Heavy rain is expected at different places in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh on March 14. An alert has been issued regarding rain in Punjab till March 15 and in Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan between March 13 and 15.

Heavy rain alert 

According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is expected in Punjab, Haryana, and Western Uttar Pradesh on March 13 and 14. Also, light to moderate rain and snowfall are expected in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh until March 14. Apart from this, heavy rain may occur in some places. There is a possibility of sporadic rainfall in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura till March 16.
