Bihar today Weather Forecast

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain dry across most districts of Bihar today, April 18. However, light rainfall may be observed at one or two isolated places in Araria, Kishanganj, and Supaul. The Meteorological Department has also issued a ‘Yellow Alert’ for these three districts. Warnings have been issued regarding lightning strikes accompanied by strong winds blowing at speeds of 30 to 40 km per hour. Furthermore, in other parts of the state, the heat’s impact is expected to persist due to intense sunshine.

Delhi-NCR Weather Update
Across the entire NCR region, including Delhi, a continuous rise in temperature is now expected. In the coming days, the mercury could cross the 40-degree Celsius mark. According to the IMD, on April 18, the maximum temperature is likely to be between 38 and 40 degrees, and the minimum between 22 and 24 degrees. Additionally, temperatures are expected to hover between 39 and 23 degrees on April 19, and remain at 39 and 23 degrees on April 20 as well. Currently, no possibility of rain has been indicated for the Delhi-NCR region.

Rajasthan Weather Forecast Next 4 Days
According to the Meteorological Department, light rain and drizzle may be observed in some areas on Friday, April 18. However, in most districts of the state, the weather is expected to remain dry, with a projected rise in maximum temperatures. Under the influence of a weak disturbance, isolated instances of light rain or drizzle are anticipated in the Jaipur, Bharatpur, and Bikaner divisions, as well as their surrounding areas. In certain pockets of Western Rajasthan, maximum temperatures could reach 41-43 degrees in the coming days.

Eastern India Weather Update

The Meteorological Department has stated that light rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds, is likely to occur at isolated places: in Odisha from April 18 to 21; in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim from April 18 to 20; and in Bihar on April 18. Furthermore, light rainfall is expected to continue in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim for the next two days.

Additionally, lightning activity is expected in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam between April 17 and 21. Similar weather conditions are expected to persist in Rayalaseema, Kerala, and Mahe on April 20 and 21. There is also a possibility of hailstorms at isolated locations in North Interior Karnataka on April 18 and 19.

Heatwave Warnings for These States

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a high likelihood of heatwave conditions in certain parts of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh on April 18 and 19. Alerts regarding heatwave conditions have also been issued for Jharkhand from April 19 to 21, and for Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, Rayalaseema, and Telangana on April 18.
