Weather Forecast:- The weather is once again seen taking a turn. According to the Meteorological Department, western winds are passing through Northeast India. Due to this, it will rain in many parts of the country. Arunachal Pradesh will have light to moderate rainfall from 15-20 February. Along with this, snowfall is also expected. Strong winds are blowing throughout the day in most parts of Uttar Pradesh, which causes people to feel cold in the morning and evening.
Due to late-night rain in many parts of the northeastern states, a drop in temperature has been seen. In Bihar, the speed of the winds also makes people feel cold. Apart from this, the temperature level has dropped due to snowfall in the hilly areas of Kashmir. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning in view of heavy rain and hailstorms in many areas of the country.
According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is expected in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim. A new western disturbance may affect the western Himalayan region starting on February 17. Due to this, light rain is expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, and Uttarakhand. An alert was also issued regarding rain in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and western Uttar Pradesh between February 18 and 20.
Weather conditions in Delhi
The weather in the national capital, Delhi, is also seen changing. According to the Meteorological Department, cloudy weather is expected in Delhi on Saturday. The maximum and minimum temperatures may remain around 27 degrees and 11 degrees Celsius respectively.
Forecast for February 20
The Meteorological Department said there may be rain in Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Bihar on February 20.
Weather conditions in Bihar
According to the IMD, there is a period of strong wind in Bihar. Humidity in the air can be recorded at 70 per cent in Patna. A rain warning has been issued in the state between February 15 and February 21.
Rain alert in these states
IMD has issued a warning of heavy rain in the northeastern states. An alert regarding rain accompanied by thunder and strong winds in Manipur, Mizoram, and Sikkim has been issued. Hailstorm can also be seen here. Also, rain is expected in many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Puducherry and Nagaland.
