According to IMD, there is a possibility of rain in many places in Uttarakhand on Wednesday. A period of rain with thunder can be seen in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh. There is a possibility of rain showers and lightning in the lower regions, as well as thunderstorms, in these areas. Heavy rains are also possible in the mountainous regions on Thursday.

According to the Meteorological Department, a warning has been issued that a fresh and active western disturbance will affect Northwest India from May 2. The IMD has predicted thunderstorms, storms, and rain with lightning in the western Himalayan region and the plains of Northwest India from April 30 to May 4.
Winds are expected to blow at a speed of 30-40 kmph here. There may be rain in eastern Uttar Pradesh until April 30, as well as in Punjab and Haryana. Apart from these, dust storms are expected in Chandigarh and Delhi on May 1 and in Rajasthan on May 1 and 2. There may be rain and thunder in some areas of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
