Monsoon Forecast – The weather is set to worsen again from North India to the southern states. The weather may disrupt New Year’s celebrations. In Delhi-NCR, the toxic air is suffocating, making it difficult to breathe. Several areas, including Western Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, are engulfed in dense fog.
Driving on the roads has become very difficult. Snowfall is being witnessed in the hilly regions, bringing life to a complete standstill. In some parts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala, late-night rains have caused a drop in temperature. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rainfall in several states. Heavy Rainfall in These 5 States
According to the IMD, the weather could deteriorate completely by December 31st. A worsening of the weather is predicted for 5 states in North India. The IMD has issued a rain alert for Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
Besides these, heavy rainfall is also expected in Kashmir and Haryana. After the rains, a drop of 3 to 4 degrees Celsius is expected in all these states, which will significantly increase the cold.

Rain in Tamil Nadu
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a light to moderate rainfall alert has been issued for various parts of Tamil Nadu for the next three days. Heavy rainfall is expected in the districts of Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Thanjavur, Mayiladuthurai, and Pudukkottai. The administration has appealed to fishermen to stay away from coastal areas.
Rain Expected Here Too
The IMD has issued a heavy rainfall alert for various parts of Kerala, Puducherry, and Andhra Pradesh. Heavy rainfall is also expected in several areas of Telangana.

Delhi Weather Update
According to the Meteorological Department, cloudy skies are expected in Delhi on the evening of December 30th. Light to moderate rainfall is expected from December 31st. The rainfall could lead to a further drop in temperatures. Yesterday, the maximum temperature in the capital was expected to be 21 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was expected to be 7 degrees Celsius.
Uttar Pradesh Weather
In Uttar Pradesh, dense fog is expected in more than 20 cities on December 30th. According to the IMD (India Meteorological Department), a dense fog alert has been issued for Lucknow, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Fatehpur, Raebareli, Saharanpur, Mathura, Hathras, Agra, Kasganj, Mainpuri, Bijnor, Moradabad, and Amroha. Travellers are advised to exercise caution during their journeys due to the fog.
