According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), a cold wave is expected in eastern Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh on December 7th and 8th. Furthermore, a cold wave is expected in western Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha on December 10th and 11th. The cold is now rapidly intensifying in the plains of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Haryana, including Delhi and the National Capital Region. Minimum temperatures in 18 cities in Rajasthan were recorded below 10 degrees on Saturday. Fatehpur in Sikar was the coldest, with a temperature of 2.3 degrees. Sikar recorded 3 degrees, Nagaur 3.3 degrees, Churu 4.5 degrees, Alwar 5 degrees, and Pali 5.6 degrees.
