Monsoon Alert:- The weather has changed once again in Delhi-NCR today i.e. on May 2. Many parts of Delhi and its surrounding areas have been experiencing thunderstorms, strong winds, and heavy rains since this morning. The temperature has suddenly dropped due to the rain. It is raining intermittently, accompanied by strong thunder and strong winds in the sky. The Meteorological Department had predicted light rain with thunder on Friday. The Meteorological Department has also issued a rain alert.

The IMD had earlier issued a warning that a strong thunderstorm may also come on Friday. There is a possibility of wind blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometres per hour. The weather in Noida, adjoining Delhi, has also become very pleasant. A storm with strong thunder came to East Delhi around 5 am, and the rain process began. However, rain had started in some areas after midnight. Heavy clouds are thundering in Noida.

Rain warning in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected in Kerala and Northeast India due to the arrival of a new western disturbance from May 2. The Meteorological Department estimates that

There may be dust storms and thunderstorms in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, UP, and Rajasthan. At the same time, it is reported that thunderstorms and rain are expected to be visible in Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Bihar, and other states over the next few days.

The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand until May 6. Rain is expected in many areas of Jharkhand till May 4. The Meteorological Department has indicated a possibility of hailstorms in some regions of Sikkim, Bihar, Odisha, eastern Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh over the next two days.

Weather conditions in UP

The weather in Uttar Pradesh has undergone a significant change. Unseasonal rain is falling at many places. Strong winds are also blowing along with the rain. There is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning in many parts of the state on May 2. The weather also changed in Noida early in the morning. A strong dust storm has begun blowing. The strong winds of the dust storm caused many glass windows to break and fall. Electricity has also been cut off at many places in the city.
