Monsoon Forecast – The monsoon has entered most states of the country. Heavy rains are being seen in the hilly areas these days. Usually, monsoon enters the entire country by July 8, however, this year the monsoon arrived on June 29 itself. With the arrival of the monsoon, heavy rains are occurring in many states. IMD has issued an alert for heavy rains, strong storms and thunderstorms in most states for the next 5 days. The IMD estimates that heavy rainfall may be observed in several states, including Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan, over the next six to seven days.

Heavy rain warning in these states

According to the IMD, heavy rains are expected in Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, and Bihar. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Odisha and Chhattisgarh till July 08. Apart from this, heavy rains are expected to continue in Jharkhand, West Bengal, Bihar, and Sikkim until July 6. Heavy rain is forecast in many states, including Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Punjab, till July 08.

Heavy rain warning for the next seven days
The latest update from the Meteorological Department has stated that heavy rains are expected in some areas of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. Apart from this, Saurashtra and Kutch may also experience heavy rainfall over the next seven days.

Weather conditions in UP
According to the Meteorological Department, thunderstorms can be seen in eastern and western UP today. A warning of heavy rain has been issued in some places in eastern UP. On July 3, a heavy rain alert has been issued in Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, Mirzapur and Sonbhadra. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert warning in eastern and western UP till July 6.
