According to the IMD, thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds are expected in Bihar. The wind speed here will likely increase from 40-50 kmph to 60 kmph. BeRain can become a disaster between May 11 in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. On May 8, there may be rain in West Bengal, Sikkim and Odisha.
Strong winds ranging from 30-40 kmph to 50 kmph may continue in these areas. On May 8, strong winds will blow at 50-60 kmph to 70 kmph in western Madhya Pradesh. On 9 and 10 May, rain with strong winds can also be seen in Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh.
The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many districts of Rajasthan. From May 8 to 11, there is a possibility of thunderstorms, lightning and winds blowing at 40-50 kmph in Central Maharashtra and Gujarat.
