IMD Weather Updates:- The India Meteorological Department has warned about a heat wave in many parts of western India. Heat waves are being seen in many states, including Rajasthan and Delhi. Due to the scorching heat, people’s lives have become difficult. People are seen getting very upset due to the strong sunlight. There is a possibility of a severe heat wave in some areas of Rajasthan on April 19. There is no possibility of a heat wave in Delhi until April 22.

Heatwave warning in Rajasthan and Gujarat
The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of a heat wave in many parts of West Rajasthan till April 18. Whereas, there is a possibility of a heat wave in some areas on April 19. Heat wave may remain in some places in eastern Rajasthan till April 19. There is a possibility of a heat wave in Gujarat on April 17.

Rain warning in these states
The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain in many parts of South and Northeast India. According to the Meteorological Department, rain with thunderstorms and strong winds (30-50 km/h) is expected in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema and Karnataka for the next 5 days. Kerala and Mahe will likely receive widespread rain and strong winds until April 19.

The Meteorological Department says rain with thunderstorms and strong winds may be recorded in Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh until April 18. Heavy rains are expected in Bihar and Tripura on April 17. Assam and Meghalaya may receive heavy rains between April 17 and April 20 22. Heavy rains may be recorded in Arunachal Pradesh from April 20 to 22.

Weather conditions in UP

There may be sporadic rain or drizzle in the Terai and adjoining districts of Bihar in western UP. There will be movement of clouds in Lucknow too, but there is no possibility of rain. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain and thunder in Varanasi, Mirzapur, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Jaunpur, Bhadohi, Chandauli, Ghazipur and Sonbhadra on 18 and 19 April.
