New Delhi: Despite numerous road regulations, accidents are on the rise, often resulting in fatalities. Meanwhile, a heartbreaking incident occurred on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. An ambulance carrying patients fell under a police vehicle near Sedra Mata in Sitamau tehsil.

Two people in the ambulance died on the spot, while the driver was seriously injured. The driver is also reported to be in critical condition. The accident occurred around 12:00 a.m. Friday night. People walking in the fields saw the ambulance and created a commotion, and informed the police. After considerable effort, the bodies trapped inside the ambulance were extricated. The injured driver was rescued and admitted to the hospital.

The exact cause of the ambulance falling under the police vehicle is not yet known. Two people, including the patient, lost their lives in the accident.
