New Delhi: A massive fire broke out in a moving bus, causing chaos. Five people, including two children, were burned to death in the incident. All five people who lost their lives in the accident are said to be from Bihar. The accident happened when the bus was going on Kisan Path in Lucknow. Within a few minutes, the fire engulfed the entire bus.
Most of the passengers were in deep sleep when the fire broke out. After this, the driver and conductor jumped out and ran away. The bus kept running amidst the flames for one kilometre. The burnt people were taken out of the bus in a hurry, of whom five died.
The bus was full of 80 passengers.
On Thursday, a private bus from Bihar to Delhi caught fire due to a short circuit in Kisan Path, Lucknow-Bareilly Road, Mohanlalganj. Seeing this, the driver and conductor ran away from the spot. The passengers in the bus somehow managed to get out by breaking the glass. The passengers said that about 80 passengers were sitting in the bus.
The fire brigade and ambulance reached the spot. After extinguishing the fire, the dead bodies of 5 people were found. These included two children. However, no one was injured because all the other people had already come out. DCP and other officials reached the spot.
