Jodhpur Accident – 18 Killed in Bus-Trailer Collision near Phalodi

Jodhpur Accident: Significant news is emerging from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Eighteen people have died, and three to four others were seriously injured in a tragic road accident in the Matoda area of ​​Jodhpur district on Sunday night. The accident occurred when a traveller collided with a parked trailer. The incident caused widespread panic and chaos at the scene. All the deceased are believed to be from the same family.

According to information, the accident occurred on the Bharat Mala Expressway in Matoda village near Phalodi. According to preliminary data, all the deceased were believed to be from the same family and were returning to Jodhpur after visiting a temple. The injured were initially admitted to a nearby hospital and then transported to Jodhpur via a green corridor for better treatment. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed deep grief over the accident.

According to information, the bus was carrying devotees from Jodhpur’s Sursagar area to Kolayat in Bikaner. While returning, a bus full of pilgrims collided with a trailer parked on the roadside in the Matoda area. The impact was so severe that the front portion of the bus was completely damaged. Several passengers died on the spot.
