New Delhi: A period of tension is currently being witnessed between the US and Iran. US President Donald Trump is very angry about Iran’s alleged ongoing nuclear development. Trump has once again issued an open threat to Iran regarding the nuclear deal.
In a post on the social media platform Truthout, he said that if a deal is not reached, it will be a very bad day for that country and its people. Trump dismissed as false reports that General Daniel Kane, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Army, is against war with Iran.
He further criticised reports published by Axios and The Wall Street Journal about General Kane. He termed the reports about his top general as fake news.
