UP Monsoon Alert: Monsoon activity is still being observed in most areas of Uttar Pradesh, causing inconvenience to residents. However, there is some relief in Uttar Pradesh as water levels in rivers, streams, and ponds are now below the danger mark. The water levels of the Ganga, Ramganga, and Kosi rivers had caused significant damage to farmers. Clouds remain lingering in many parts of Uttar Pradesh.

Late-night rains in some areas have brought relief from the humid heat. Temperatures are also continuing to drop. Temperatures generally begin to decline after September 15th. The monsoon is also on its way out. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains in several districts of Uttar Pradesh. Check out the state’s weather updates.

Heavy rains are expected here.

According to the IMD, heavy rains are expected in Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Sambhal, Lakhimpur Kheri, and Sitapur in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, Bahraich, Barabanki, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, and Kushinagar are expected to experience heavy rainfall. The IMD has also predicted heavy rain in Deoria, Mau, Ballia, and Sonbhadra. Strong winds with speeds of up to 40 kilometres per hour may continue here.

The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain in many parts of Uttar Pradesh. According to a report, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, and Gorakhpur may experience heavy rain. Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Gonda, Barabanki, Ayodhya, and Ambedkar Nagar may experience heavy rain.

According to the IMD, Sultanpur, Amethi, Pratapgarh, Rae Bareli, Kaushambi, and Fatehpur may experience heavy rain. Chitrakoot, Banda, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Kanpur, Unnao, and Saharanpur may experience heavy rain. Heavy rain warning has been issued in Bijnor, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit and Moradabad.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in South Indian states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh. Rainfall is also expected in Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Telangana. Rainfall is also expected in several parts of Odisha, Assam, Jharkhand, and Bihar.
