Monsoon Alert: The weather is bad these days in most states nationwide. Heavy rain and dust storms in many areas of the country in the early morning made life miserable. The storm was so strong that even the passersby on the roads stopped under the shops and stands. However, due to the temperature drop, people felt relief from the scorching heat.

Clouds are still camped in many states from North India to South and Northeast India. So far, the weather is expected to remain bad till May 7, 2025. Due to rain in many districts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, the temperature level decreased, which relieved the people from the heat. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert about heavy rain and thunder in many states.

The Meteorological Department has warned about heavy rain and thunder in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and West Bengal. There is also a possibility of severe storms and thunderstorms here. Heavy rain warnings have been issued in Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Himachal Pradesh.

Heavy rains have also occurred in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. Heavy rain is also expected in Telangana, Jammu, Kashmir, Delhi, and Kerala. Heavy rain alerts have also been issued in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karnataka. Storm warnings have also been issued in Gujarat, Goa and Assam. Rain can also cause disasters in Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain warnings have been issued in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and Uttarakhand. Apart from these, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi. There may be rain with strong winds in Madhya Pradesh.

It will rain here on May 6

According to the IMD, May 6 will also not be easy. Strong winds with thunderstorms may continue in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Chhattisgarh. A heavy rain warning has been issued in Karnataka and Kerala in South India. On May 7, rain and hailstorms may occur in many parts of Gujarat, Maharashtra and South India. There is a threat of rain in the northeastern states as well.
