New Delhi: The scorching heat in most parts of North India has made people sweat, troubling everyone. The temperature has reached 40 degrees in many areas of North India, where people have started using electrical appliances. The weather became pleasant due to rain in some parts of South India, but the situation remained the same.

Also, strong winds in many areas of Karnataka have reduced the heat of the weather. The temperature level is also increasing in the northeastern states. Snowfall in some areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand still makes people feel cold. The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains and storms in many states.

Heavy rain alert in these states

According to the IMD, heavy rain may occur in many states of the country in the next 4 to 5 days. A warning has also been issued for hailstorms and heavy rains in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Heavy rains and thunderstorms are also expected in Odisha, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu, where people may face big problems.

Rain will occur with thunderstorms in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Jharkhand on April 2. A heavy rain alert has been issued in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Hailstorm is also expected at some places. Heavy rain alerts were issued in Kerala and Karnataka on April 3 and 4.
