Goa Nightclub Fire Update: A cylinder blast at a nightclub in the Arpora area of Goa late Saturday night has created a sensation. 23 people have died in this accident. The number of injured is not yet known. However, the blast was so dangerous that it is estimated that many people might have been injured. According to the police, the fire broke out around 12 o’clock at night. This club was opened only last year and was very popular among tourists. After receiving information about the fire, the police arrived at the scene and brought it under control. An investigation has been ordered. Chief Minister Sawant himself visited the scene and vowed to take strict action against the culprits.

The fire broke out around 12:00 midnight, while cooking was underway in the club’s kitchen. A gas cylinder exploded, spreading the fire rapidly throughout the premises. The explosion was so powerful that even those living nearby felt the vibrations. The fire and smoke spread, leaving those inside with no time to escape.

As soon as the explosion occurred, people started running out screaming, and locals immediately informed the police. Goa Director General of Police Alok Kumar stated that the control room received a call at 12:04 am, and police, fire units, and ambulances arrived at the scene immediately. The fire was brought under control shortly afterwards, but by then, many people had died from suffocation or burns.
