New Delhi: Earthquake tremors shook life in many parts of West Bengal. Tremors were also felt in Kolkata. The quake’s intensity was 4.7. The earth swayed continuously for 17 seconds. This sent panic through the public. When people in their homes saw their belongings shaking, they rushed out.
Fortunately, no damage has been reported so far. The epicentre of the earthquake is reported to be in Bangladesh. According to information shared by the German Research for Geosciences, a 5.7 magnitude earthquake was felt in Bangladesh on Friday. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres.
Earth Shakes in Pakistan Early Morning
For information, earthquake tremors were also felt in Pakistan early this morning. The earthquake’s intensity in Pakistan was measured at 5.2 on the Richter scale. The epicentre was located at a depth of 135 kilometres.
