New Delhi: The Earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand caused such devastation that a large number of people lost their lives. There has been a massive loss of life and property. An earthquake shook the earth early in the morning in India’s neighboring Pakistan. According to the National Earthquake Center, its intensity was measured at 4.3 on the Richter scale. There is no news of any damage in Pakistan due to the earthquake.
Anyway, an earthquake in Pakistan is not a new thing. Pakistan is considered very sensitive from a seismic point of view. Most of Pakistan is located near the seismic areas of the Hindu Kush, Tibet and the Himalayas. Earthquake tremors are often felt here. Earlier, the earthquake caused a lot of destruction in Myanmar, Burma.

On April 1, Myanmar also shook due to an earthquake
A day before, on April 1, two earthquake tremors were felt in Myanmar. The first earthquake was of 4.7 magnitude. It came around 4:31 pm IST. The earthquake’s epicentre was in an 18 km deep area of Myanmar. Then at 8:57 pm IST, another quake of 4.5 magnitude was also felt in Myanmar.
Earlier on March 28, 20255, an earthquake caused devastation. So far, 2000 people have lost their lives in this natural disaster. A large number of people are still injured, with some said to be critical. The death toll may increase further. The earthquake was so strong that many buildings in Bangkok collapsed, resulting in the loss of many lives.
India provided financial assistance..
After the tragedy in Myanmar, India has also extended a helping hand. India has launched Operation Brahma. Under this, India has sent 625 metric tonnes of humanitarian aid and disaster relief material. Along with this, six aircraft and five ships of the Indian Air Force and the Indian Navy have worked to send relief material to Myanmar. Anyway, India has always been helping its neighboring countries in bad times.
