People in Patna also felt the earth tremor at 2:36 am. Many people felt dizzy after the earthquake. The areas of Kishanganj and Katihar were affected the most.

Officials gave information

Speaking to Reuters, Ganesh Nepali, a senior official of Sindhupalchowk, said, “It shook us even in our sleep.” He said, “We immediately got out of the house. People have now gone back to their homes. We have not received any news of damage or anyone being injured.”

According to the National Center of Seismology, earthquake tremors were also felt in Pakistan around 5:14 am. Its intensity was measured at 4.5 on the Richter scale.
