New Delhi: The fierce fighting between Russia and Ukraine continues. Efforts are being made at the global level to de-escalate the conflict, but a resolution does not yet seem to be in sight. Now, there are reports of an alleged drone attack by Ukraine on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s residence.
Russia is claiming that a drone attack occurred at Putin’s residence. However, Ukraine has denied this claim. On the other hand, Ukraine has also expressed anger over the alleged drone attack on Putin’s home. Donald Trump said he was told that a swarm of Ukrainian drones targeted Putin’s residence.

Before a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida, Trump said that Putin had raised this issue with him during a phone call. He further objected to such incidents, saying that he doesn’t think such things should happen.

What Donald Trump said
US President Donald Trump made a significant statement. He said, “You know, President Putin told me about this attack. He said he was attacked. This is not good. He further added, ‘I’m very angry about this. If they are the aggressors, attacking them is one thing. Attacking their home is another. This is not the right time to be doing all this.

Russia accuses Ukraine
Russia has claimed that President Vladimir Putin’s residence was attacked. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov accused Ukraine of attempting to attack Putin’s home in the Novgorod region of Moscow with a swarm of drones on the night of December 28-29.
He also claimed that 91 drones were launched in this attack, but Russian air defence intercepted all of them. Lavrov said that Russia has also selected targets in Ukraine for retaliatory strikes. However, Ukraine has denied Lavrov’s claims.
