According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain and strong thunderstorms are expected for the next two days.

According to the Meteorological Department’s forecast, light to moderate rain is expected to occur on Tuesday and Wednesday. During this time, the wind speed is likely to be 40 to 50 kilometres per hour. Along with rain, intense dust storms can also come. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for both days. People have breathed a sigh of relief due to the drop in temperature. There has been severe heat in Delhi for the last few days. Due to the intense sunlight, people had reduced going out of the house.

According to the Meteorological Department, drizzle is expected in the Delhi-NCR region on 17, 19 and 20 June. At the same time, the sky is expected to be clear on 18 June. The maximum temperature is 32.7 degrees and the minimum temperature is 28.2 degrees Celsius. However, people looked a little troubled due to the humidity and the light afternoon sunshine. But Monday was a slight relief compared to the intense heat.

Along with this, an alert has also been issued for thunder, lightning and winds. The speed of the winds is expected to be from 40 to 50 km per hour to 60 km per hour. During this time, the maximum temperature can be recorded between 34 and 25 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature between 27 and 29 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued regarding thunderstorms and rain on June 19 as well.

People in Delhi experienced severe heat between June 8 and June 14. During this time, the maximum temperature crossed 40 degrees Celsius. However, a slight softening in the weather of Delhi is now being observed. Western disturbance is also active. Due to which there is a possibility of thunderstorms and rain in the Delhi-NCR region.
