Due to heavy rains, many areas, including the underpass near Delhi Cantonment, Zakhira underpass, Pul Prahladpur, ITO, and Delhi Najafgarh Road, experienced knee-deep waterlogging, which is affecting vehicle movement. At the same time, due to bad weather, the route of 12 flights has been diverted at Delhi airport.

The IMD has issued a yellow alert for June 18, indicating a possibility of thunderstorms with lightning and light to moderate rain, especially at night. Additionally, there is a possibility of wind blowing at speeds of 50-60 km per hour. The maximum and minimum temperatures of Delhi today are likely to be around 34 and 27 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department estimates that the yellow alert will continue in Delhi till Thursday. During this time, light to moderate rain, lightning and strong winds are expected. Due to rain, traffic may be disrupted and flight or train services may be delayed.
