Today’s Weather: Cyclone Ditwa has created a major crisis for people, with the threat of storms and heavy rains looming in many states. The next two days are not going to be easy. Cyclone Ditwa could disrupt normal life for two days. Furthermore, snowfall in the hilly areas of North India has made life difficult.

The continuous snowfall has blanketed the mountains in a white blanket. Temperatures are also dropping in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand. A sharp drop in temperatures is also being observed in the northeastern states. Dense fog enveloped many areas of Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi NCR in the early morning. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rain accompanied by storms in several states.

Heavy Rain Warning in These States

According to the Meteorological Department, a heavy rain alert has been issued in several states from December 30th to December 1st. People have been urged to exercise caution. The IMD has issued a warning for storms and heavy rain in several districts of Tamil Nadu. In addition, a heavy rainfall alert has been issued for coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema until December 2nd.

A heavy rainfall alert has also been issued for Telangana on December 1st. A heavy rainfall alert has been issued for Kerala and Mahe on November 30th. An alert for excessive rainfall has been issued for several locations in coastal Andhra Pradesh on November 30th. An alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall has been issued for coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema.

Temperatures are expected to fall in these parts of India

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in North India may drop by 2-4 degrees in the next three days. Thereafter, the weather will remain largely unchanged. Temperatures in East and Northeast India are expected to remain near-normal for the next three days. After that, a decrease of 2-3 degrees is expected.

No significant change in minimum temperatures is expected in Maharashtra in the next 24 hours. Temperatures are expected to rise by 2-3 degrees in the next four days. No significant change in minimum temperatures is expected.

A cold wave is expected here.

According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog is expected in many areas of Himachal Pradesh between November 30 and December 2, and in Odisha on December 30. Additionally, a cold wave is expected in some areas of Punjab from November 30 to December 2.
