Bihar Assembly Election 2025: The excitement surrounding the Bihar Assembly elections is now at its peak. Most importantly, the party has announced its candidates for seats previously eyed by the Congress and RJD. The demands of Vikassheel Insaan Party chief Mukesh Sahni and the Congress have created a deadlock within the Grand Alliance. Congress wants 65 seats for itself, while the Vikassheel Insaan Party is adamant on 35 seats. RJD is unwilling to give Congress 55 seats, and Vikassheel Insaan Party no more than 20 seats.
Mukesh Sahni has even declared himself the candidate for Deputy CM. The CPI(ML) has nominated Madan Singh Chandravanshi for the Tarari assembly seat. Agiaon has nominated Shiv Prakash Ranjan. Kayamuddin Ansari has been nominated for Ara, Ajit Kumar Kushwaha for Dumraon, Mahanand Singh for Arwal, and Arun Singh for Karakat.
How many phases will the elections be held in?
Preparations for the Bihar Assembly elections are progressing rapidly. The state will hold elections in two phases. The first phase of voting will be held on November 6 and the second phase on November 11. The results will be declared on November 14, 2025. For your information, 121 seats will be voted on in the first phase, while 122 seats will be voted on in the second phase.
