On the night of September 15, rain wreaked havoc in Dharampur. The bus stand has been completely submerged in water. Many vehicles, including buses, bikes, have also drowned in water. There is also news of a person missing due to excess water filling. The water level is still rising here. Water has entered people’s homes and shops, including the bus stand.

The situation was so bad that there was a stampede at night. People saved their lives by climbing onto the roofs of their houses. The police conducted a rescue operation at night. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain was seen in many areas of Himachal Pradesh on Monday. Apart from this, there was a storm in some areas, due to which traffic on 493 roads, including three national highways, is also disrupted.

How much rain was recorded in the last 24 hours

According to the Meteorological Department, 56 mm of rain was recorded in Jogindernagar in the last 24 hours. 48 mm of rain was recorded in Palampur. 40 mm of rain was seen in Pandoh and 34.2 mm in Kangra. 30 mm was recorded in Nagarota Surian, 27.5 mm in Mandi. 18.5 mof m rain was recorded in Sarahan, 18.2 mm in Murari Devi, 17.6 mm in Bhareri and 17 mm in Karsog.

Giving important information, the Meteorological Department said that rain with thunder was recorded in Kangra, Jot, Sundarnagar and Palampur. Along with this, strong winds blew in Rekongpeo and Seobag.
