New Delhi: The Civil Defence mock drill, scheduled to be held in the border states adjoining Pakistan, has been postponed. It has been delayed due to administrative reasons. First of all, the news of the postponement of the mock drill to be held in all the districts of Rajasthan under the Civil Defence Exercise had come. The states in which the mock drill was to be held included Gujarat, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab.
This mock drill has been named Operation Shield. According to the official spokesperson, the dates of the new type of mock drill will be announced soon. Earlier, the Civil Defence Department had also issued guidelines regarding ‘blackout and ‘mock drill’ in all 11 districts of the state on Thursday evening.
