According to the Meteorological Department, warnings of rain have been issued in many districts of Bihar. There is a possibility of heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms in Kishanganj, Araria, Purnia, Katihar, Bhagalpur, and Khagaria.

Apart from these, heavy rain with thunderstorms is expected in many areas, including Saharsa, Madhepura, Supaul, Gopalganj, Darbhanga, and Patna. There is also a possibility of rain, thunder, lightning, and strong winds in most districts of eastern Bihar. Along with this, the temperatures in Bhojpur, Buxa, and Dehria are likely to exceed 40 °C.

According to the IMD, a warning has been issued for heavy rains in West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, and Sitamarhi for the next 12 hours. There may be heavy rains in Shivhar, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Samastipur, Madhubani, Darbhanga, and Supaul. A rain alert has been issued in Araria, Kishanganj, Saharsa, Madhepura, Purnia, Katihar, Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui and Munger.
