Bihar Election 2025 – All political parties are now abuzz with promises for the Bihar Assembly elections. In response to the Grand Alliance’s manifesto titled “Tejasvi Pranab” (Tejasvi Pranab), the NDA released its manifesto on Friday, titled “Sankalp Patra. The NDA jointly released this manifesto, addressing all sections of society, and making significant promises regarding youth and infrastructure in urban and rural areas.
Union Minister and BJP chief J.P. Nadda, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Union Minister and Hindustani Awam Party patron Jitan Ram Manjhi, Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas Paswan) chief Chirag Paswan, and Rashtriya Lok Morcha chief Upendra Kushwaha released the joint manifesto. They unanimously declared that the NDA will form the government.
Key Points of the NDA’s Manifesto
The NDA’s manifesto, released on Friday, prioritised employment. The NDA promised to create 1 crore government jobs and employment opportunities if it forms the government. This promise of the NDA is being seen as a counter to the Grand Alliance’s promise of providing employment to every family. Metro rail operations have also been announced in four cities to make Bihar smart and facilitate travel.
In addition, it has announced the establishment of a Mega Skill Centre in every district, establishing skill-based employment through a skill census. Women will be assisted up to ₹2 lakh under the Chief Minister’s Women Employment Scheme. It has also promised to make 1 crore women “Lakhpati Didi.”
Key Points of the Resolution Letter
Work will be done towards making identified women entrepreneurs millionaires through the “Women Mission Crorepati.”
Various business groups from the Extremely Backward Classes will be assisted with ₹10 lakh.
A high-level committee will be formed under the chairmanship of a retired Supreme Court judge, which will assess the social and economic status of various castes of the Extremely Backward Classes and recommend appropriate steps for their empowerment to the government.
By launching the Karpoori Thakur Kisan Samman Nidhi, farmers will benefit from ₹3,000 per year, totalling ₹9,000.
₹1 lakh crore will be invested in agri-infrastructure.
All major crops (paddy, wheat, pulses, and maize) will be procured at the Panchayat level at the MSP.
The ‘Fish-Milk Mission’ scheme will provide a total benefit of ₹9,000 (fifty) to each fish farmer.
The ‘Bihar Milk Mission’ will launch chilling and processing centres at every block level.
Five mega food parks will be established, doubling agricultural exports.
Self-sufficiency in pulses production will be achieved by 2030.
Seven expressways will be built.
3,600 km of rail track will be modernised.
The Amrit Bharat Express and Namo Rapid Rail services will be expanded.
