IMD Weather Today: Monsoon rains have created new troubles in many areas of India, affecting everyone. There is heavy rain in South India, where flood-like conditions have arisen in many places. Heavy rains in many regions of Kerala, Karnataka and Maharashtra have made life difficult for the people. A new Western Disturbance is once again being seen to develop in Northwest India.

Due to rain in many areas of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand last night, people have experienced relief from the scorching heat. The weather is likely to deteriorate again in the country’s capital, Delhi, and its surrounding areas. It is still raining in some areas of the northeastern states. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in many areas of the country.

Rain alert in these areas

IMD has predicted heavy rainfall in many states across the country. According to IMD, heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms are expected in Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Goa. Heavy rains are expected at many places in North Karnataka from May 28 to  30. Strong winds are expected to blow here at a speed of 40-50 km per hour.

The Meteorological Department has expressed hope that the southwest monsoon will advance from the west of the low-pressure system. Its effect can be seen in Northeast India, West Bengal and surrounding areas. According to the IMD, a warning of monsoon rains has been issued in states such as Assam, Meghalaya, and Sikkim. Pre-monsoon activities are likely to intensify in Odisha, South Chhattisgarh and North Coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Heavy rain is expected to cause a disaster in many areas.

According to the IMD, heavy rainfall is expected in most areas of Rajasthan over the next 48 hours. At the same time, the maximum temperature in the border areas of western Rajasthan is likely to reach 44-46 degrees, which can cause people to sweat due to the heat. The maximum temperature is expected to remain below 45 degrees in most parts of the state.

Thunderstorms and light rains are likely to continue for the next 4 to 5 days. Additionally, there is a possibility of rain at many places in the Udaipur and Ajmer divisions of eastern Rajasthan. There may be thunderstorms and rain at many places in the Bikaner and Jodhpur divisions of western Rajasthan.
