New Delhi: Monsoon has become fully active in all areas of Uttar Pradesh. It is raining as clouds move from east to west, causing the state’s temperature to fall. Heavy rain is falling with lightning in many districts, where people have got relief from the heat. It is expected that the weather in UP may remain bad for the next few days.
Cloud movement has been ongoing since Wednesday morning. At some places, it is raining too heavily. The farmers’ crops have benefited from the rain. However, if the water levels of the rivers increase, then farmers growing vegetables may suffer losses. The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted monsoon rains in 65 districts of UP. According to the Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued for heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in Saharanpur, Bijnor, and Moradabad. Additionally, rain is expected in all areas of Rampur and Sambhal. Heavy rain is expected in Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, and Meerut. A heavy rain warning has been issued for Amroha, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Jhansi, Jalaun, and Lalitpur.
A heavy rain warning has also been issued in Basti, Kushinagar, Sitapur, and Maharajganj. A heavy rain alert has been issued in Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, and Bahraich. Heavy rain accompanied by lightning can be seen in Lakhimpur Kheri, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, and Kanpur. People have been advised to exercise caution due to the possibility of lightning in the area.

IMD has issued an alert for heavy rain accompanied by thunder in Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, and Sant Kabir Nagar. Apart from these, a heavy rain alert has been issued in Unnao, Lucknow, Barabanki, Rae Bareli, Banda and Chitrakoot. A warning of heavy rain with thunder has been issued in Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh and Sonbhadra.
Heavy rain is expected in Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Jaunpur and Ghazipur. A rain warning has also been issued in Amethi, Ayodhya, Sultanpur, Ambedkar Nagar, and Ghaziabad. For your information, please note that there will be no change in the maximum temperature for the next 5 days. Rain is expected at many places from eastern UP to the west.
