Honda QC3 Electric Scooter: Honda has launched its new Honda QC3 in the Indian electric scooter market. It carries a starting price of ₹1.35 lakh. The company has opened bookings for ₹5,000, and initial sales will take place through select Honda RedWing dealerships in five cities: Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat, and Kollam. The Honda QC3 has been launched with a certified range of 145 km and a 3 kWh fixed battery. Priced at ₹1.35 lakh, this electric scooter offers 32 litres of storage space and a range of connected features.

Honda QC3 Price and Booking

The Honda QC3 is priced at ₹1.35 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Bookings are now open, and customers can reserve the scooter by paying a booking amount of ₹5,000. However, the company has not yet announced a date for its nationwide availability.

Initially, the scooter will be available for sale at select Honda RedWing dealerships in Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat, and Kollam. Honda may announce details regarding sales in other cities at a later date; therefore, the QC3’s availability will currently be restricted to specific markets.

Range and Battery

The Honda QC3 is equipped with a 3 kWh fixed battery pack. According to the company, this battery delivers a certified IDC range of 145 km on a full charge. This figure exceeds the claimed range of Honda’s other electric scooters available in India.

Regarding charging, it takes approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes to charge the battery from 0% to 80%, while a full charge takes about four hours. Since it features a fixed battery, it must be charged at home or at a designated charging setup.

32-Litre Under-seat Storage

A standout feature of the QC3 is its 32-litre under-seat storage capacity. While battery packaging often compromises storage space in electric scooters, Honda has designed the QC3 with a family-orientated layout.

This storage capacity provides ample space for daily essentials, small bags, and necessary accessories. Additionally, the long single-piece seat and flat floorboard enhance the scooter’s practicality.

5-Inch TFT Display

The Honda QC3 features a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster. Beyond displaying essential information to the rider, it supports Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity.

RoadSync enables features such as turn-by-turn navigation and various smartphone-linked functions. It also incorporates Smart Key technology, reducing the need to handle a physical key for daily use.

The lighting setup uses LED technology. The front features a slim lighting signature integrated into the apron—a design element that helps distinguish it from the smaller QC1 model.

Design

Honda has opted for a simple and practical design for the QC3 rather than an aggressive one. It features a broad front apron, a flat floorboard, a long single-piece seat, and conventional scooter proportions.

While its overall shape resembles a traditional family scooter, the LED lighting and TFT display add a modern touch. Honda is offering the QC3 in four colour options: Matt Photon Grey Metallic, Pearl Precious White, Pearl Shallow Blue, and Pearl Siren Blue.
