Gold Price Today: A slight dip in gold and silver prices is evident as the market opens today, July 6. Gold and silver prices are fluctuating daily; rates sometimes rise and sometimes fall. While gold prices rose in the first week of July, both gold and silver declined in June. MCX August gold futures rose by 0.03% to ₹1,47,418 per 10 grams, while September silver futures traded at ₹2,37,447 per kilogram, up by 0.02%. Last week, the futures price for 24-carat gold on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) closed lower at ₹1,47,365 per 10 grams.

According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the rate for 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹1,46,344 per 10 grams at the close of the market on Friday. Since the market remains closed on Saturday and Sunday, this rate remains valid for both days. Gold rates will now be released by the IBJA on Monday around 12:00 PM.

On the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver for delivery on September 4, 2026, is trading at ₹236,369 per kg, down 0.44%. By the close of the market last week, the price of silver stood at ₹237,499, indicating a drop of ₹1,130.
