Vivo S20, Vivo S20 Pro Series: The company has introduced the Vivo S20 series to the market. Two models have been launched under this series – Vivo S20 and S20 Pro. It is the successor to the Vivo S19 lineup, launched in May.

The essential features of the new smartphone include a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 50-megapixel primary camera. So let us tell you about both the phones in detail:-

Both models of the Vivo S20 series have a 6.67-inch (1260 x 2800 pixels) 1.5K AMOLED screen, which has a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 + support. The base model has a flat display, while the Pro variant has a quad-curved panel. Both handsets run on OriginOS 5, based on Android 15.

The Vivo S20 smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. Up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage have also been provided. On the other hand, the Vivo S20 Pro has a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC. For optics, the Vivo S20 smartphone has a dual rear camera unit, which includes a 50-megapixel OV50E sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens. It also has a 50-megapixel front-facing selfie camera.

The Vivo S20 Pro features a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom.

The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor and Aura Light. The phone has Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.4 for connectivity. The Vivo S20 has a 6,500mAh battery, which supports 80W fast charging. Its dimensions are 160.35×74.18×7.19mm, and it weighs 186 grams. The Vivo S20 Pro packs a 5,500mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging, measures 160.56×75.02×7.43m,m, and weighs 193 grams.

The Vivo S20 smartphone starts at a base price of CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 27,000) for the 8GB + 256GB model. It has four variants, with the 16GB + 512GB configuration priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 35,000).

The Vivo S20 Pro is also priced at CNY 3,399 (roughly Rs. 39,703.01) for the 12GB + 256GB model. It is also available in 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB variants. Both the handsets can be pre-ordered in China starting today.
