Tecno Spark 40: Tecno has launched the Spark 40 in Uganda, officially starting the rollout of its Spark 40 series across many international markets. Created to offer powerful specs at an affordable rate, the Spark 40 is notable for its 120Hz refresh display, water- and dust-resistant casing, and fast-charging features. Targeting budget-oriented buyers, the phone endeavors to offer premium-like features at a mid-range segment.

Smooth Display with High Refresh Rate
The Tecno Spark 40 features a 6.67-inch LCD punch-hole screen with a 720 x 1600 pixel (HD+) display. The screen is unique in that it features a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother images while gaming or scrolling. Although an LCD screen, the phone offers a responsive and well-lit experience, especially to regular users. The fingerprint scanner on the sides offers simple and secure entry into the phone.
Basic Camera Setup with LED Support
In the camera segment, Spark 40 receives a front-facing 8MP selfie and video calling camera. This is supported by a 50MP rear primary sensor, together with an LED flash for indoor photography. Even though the combination might be unsuitable for professional shooters, it should not be short in well-lit situations. Dual speakers with DTS Sound are also present on the phone for an enhanced audio experience.

The Spark 40 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 processor that supports steady performance during normal usage. Battery duration will no longer be a problem with the Spark 40, given that it has a battery of 5,200mAh. There is also a 45W fast charging support in the phone, via which users can charge their phone and get back to use it without delays. This will be perfect for individuals who constantly move around.
IP64 Rating and Special Connectivity Feature
Spark 40’s IP64-rated casing is a surprise feature with its low price, as it is lightly splash-resistant and dust-resistant. Another unique feature is the FreeLink, which places calls using Bluetooth over a range of 500 metres when cellular reception is unavailable. Dual SIM, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and USB-C port are the features of connectivity.

There are four variants of Tecno Spark 40: 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB. Its price is set at the entry-level model, UGX 47,900 in Uganda. The customer can pick any one of the four trendy colors Ink Black, Titanium Grey, Veil White, and Mirage Blue, resulting in a sturdy and stylish choice.
