Samsung Galaxy S26: Samsung is preparing for its next flagship lineup, and the Galaxy S26 is already in the headlines. According to recent leaks, this may be the most advanced model from the brand so far. Though the official launch may be in the beginning of next year, key details have surfaced online about its camera, chipset, and battery.
Design and Display Upgrade
Leaks from tipster Debayan Roy say that Galaxy S26 will boast a 6.3-inch M14 AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device will sport a slim 6.9mm body, thinner compared to its predecessor Galaxy S25’s frame that measured 7.2mm thick. This flagship might also include IP68 certification, providing protection against dust and water for added endurance.
Powerful Performance with Exynos 2600
At its core, the Galaxy S26 will run on Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2600 processor, which has been designed for efficiency and performance. It is said to include advanced Galaxy AI features, bringing intelligent improvements across apps and system performance. The battery capacity of the phone will be 4300mAh, supported by 25W fast charging for promising solid all-day backup.
Galaxy S26 Camera Upgrades
This time, Samsung looks like its going all in on camera tech. It’s expected that the Galaxy S26 will sport a 50MP primary lens with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 12MP telephoto sensor. These all mark a significant bump from the Galaxy S25, which came with a 10MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultrawide sensor.
Galaxy S26 Expected Launch
According to early reports, the Galaxy S26 series is likely to be released worldwide in January or February of next year. But one thing to be noticed is that these leaked specs are never finalized because, every time, Samsung introduces last-minute refinements before launch. The Galaxy S26 is turning out to be one of the most anticipated flagship smartphones of 2025 with its slimmer build and upgraded cameras and enhanced AI integration.
