Processor: Samsung Galaxy S25 5G vs Samsung Galaxy S24 5G

S25 5G makes a giant leap with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8Elite processor. It is an overpowered processor with a clock speed of 4.47 GHz and makes multitasking as silky smooth as can be, especially when paired with 12GB RAM. S24 5G, however, uses Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2400 processor. While it’s not a Slowpoke and still performs well, it falls behind when it comes to raw power and efficiency. S25 hands down wins if you require a gaming or heavy apps future-proofed phone.

Display and Battery

Both phones sport a 6.2-inch screen and share the same 1080 x 2340 resolution. The difference is in S25’s use of LTPO AMOLED while S24 uses Dynamic AMOLED 2X. The refresh rate is the same at 120Hz, and brightness goes as high as 2600 nits on both. You will not notice a huge visual difference in real life. But LTPO displays on the S25 are better equipped to manage power. Speaking of power, both phones have a 4000mAh battery with 25W fast charging and wireless charging capabilities. No contest here it’s a tie on this front.

Samsung Galaxy S25 5G vs Samsung Galaxy S24 5G Camera

Quirky, camera setups on both phones are the same. You get a triple rear camera with 50MP + 12MP + 10MP sensors and a 12MP front camera sensor. Both feature optical image stabilization and capture 4K video. The S24, however, supports 8K video recording which the S25 does not. In reality, however, camera performance may differ slightly due to processing ability and software tweaks. If you don’t need 8K, then both phones are capable enough for photography.

Price of the Device

S25 5G starts at ₹66,500 on Amazon, and S24 5G at a minimum of ₹55,850. On Samsung and Croma, their rates are higher at ₹80,999 for S25 and ₹70,999 for S24. S24 is more affordable, especially given how few visual or camera upgrades there are in the latest one.

Conclusion

Samsung has crammed the Galaxy S25 5G with faster performance and better power efficiency, but the Galaxy S24 5G stands its ground with its excellent camera, deep display, and more fluid video recording. If you want the latest tech and long-term value, the S25 is an excellent option. However, if you are on a budget and do not need that extra oomph in performance, the S24 offers excellent value without feeling outdated.
