Speculative Launch Date is May 13

A fresh leak from renowned tipster Evan Blass has proposed a teaser image of the Galaxy S25 Edge. The image is accompanied by the words Beyond Slim, indicating the very thin design of the device. If leaks are any indication, the launch is on May 13, in perfect sync with previous leaks that had indicated a May release.

Restricted Availability in First Phase

The device can first debut in some markets independently. Sources indicate the Galaxy S25 Edge will be available on the shelves in China and South Korea first, perhaps from May 23. Consumers in the United States and other regions might have to wait until May 30 before it is available.

Early Birds Get the Edge

Pre-orders for the phone are said to begin immediately after the launch, from May 14 to May 20. This pre-sale period may be accompanied by special offers, making early adopters want to jump in. It also allows Samsung to test public interest before launching the device worldwide.

Camera Hardware Mirrors Ultra Variant

Samsung might equip the S25 Edge with the very same powerful 200MP primary camera that adorns the S25 Ultra. The sensor boasts OIS, a large f/1.7 aperture, and 2x in-sensor zoom and is a benchmark for thin flagships. It is not the norm to have such premium optics on thinner handsets.

Ultra-Wide Lens Adds Versatility

The main shooter will be joined by a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, mimicking the camera setup of the vanilla Galaxy S25. In a vertically stacked pill-shaped rear module, the setup includes an LED flash as well. Though limited to two lenses, the setup will try to deliver flagship-level photography.

Design and Display: Ultra-Thin Meets Premium Feel

Design-wise, Galaxy S25 Edge will be the thinnest Samsung high-end smartphone ever. The teaser and leaks show us a slim body without compromising premium material and hold comfort. Edge-to-edge display will be projected to have world-class visuals, possibly with QHD+ resolution and high refresh rate.

Pre-Launch Expectations

While Samsung has remained cryptic about complete specifications, what has been revealed so far offers a sneak peek into a class-apart launch. The S25 Edge is generating buzz not just for its appearance but also for packing flagship internals within a leaner body. It’s going to be one of the grandest showstoppers this May.
