Samsung Galaxy A35 5G vs Vivo Y200e : Once the exclusive domain of flagship devices, mid-range smartphones will be flexing their muscles in all of their glory by 2025. Two pretty strong contenders in the league would have to be the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G and the Vivo Y200e. Both of them feature 5G, AMOLED displays, and impressive camera setups. So which one truly takes the prize in the matter of display quality and camera performance?
Now, coming to display, Samsung Galaxy A35 5G will feature a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display, full HD+, and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, this Vivo Y200e has an almost similar variable E4 AMOLED display (Full HD+ and 120Hz refresh rate), but bigger in size at 6.67 inches. What makes it special is the peak brightness of 1800 nits, which helps in viewing under direct sunlight outdoors. It supports HDR10+ and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, giving users a bright and punchy visual experience. It has an IP54 rating which is slightly less protective than Samsung’s IP67.
With regards to cameras, the Galaxy A35 comes with a triple rear camera that includes a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 5MP macro lens. It also offers Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) that helps reduce picture and video blur when there is not enough light. The front camera specs 13MP with 4K video support and natural-looking selfies.

The Vivo Y200e sports a dual-camera system, which consists of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. While it doesn’t have any ultrawide and macro capabilities, it does handle bright sunlight pretty well. The 16MP front camera takes impressive selfies, but like the A35, it doesn’t record in 4K.
Overall, the best bet, if you want rugged phones with a multi-functional camera setup latched onto a solid low-light performance, would be the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G. But, if you want a more colorful and brighter display and a very decent selfie camera for daily use, the Vivo Y200e will not let you down.
