Galaxy A07: Samsung is getting ready to unveil a new budget phone, Galaxy A07, the successor to the Galaxy A06 from last year. Before its official launch, the device has now been spotted on the Google Play Console, providing us with a clear idea of its design and specifications. The device was also seen on a Samsung support page earlier this week, which only added to rumors that a launch is around the corner.

Familiar Galaxy A-Series Design
The Galaxy A07’s design appears to stay true to Samsung’s recent A-series style. According to the image on the Google Play Console, the phone features a pill-shaped dual camera module at the back, something we’ve already seen on the Galaxy A and Galaxy M lineups in 2025. The LED flash is positioned to the right of the camera island, while the Samsung branding sits towards the bottom rear panel.
Notch Screen and Thick Bezels on the Front
On the front, the Galaxy A07 still sports a design identical to its predecessor, the A06. It has a visible waterdrop notch for the front camera and fairly thick bezels, especially around the chin. This design ensures that the A07 is indeed a budget device, to keep prices low by eschewing slimmer, more premium bezels.
Display, Processor, and Memory Confirmed
The Google Play Console listing verifies that the Galaxy A07 will come with an HD+ display with a 720 x 1,600 pixel resolution. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, model-numbered MT6789/DC. The chip is a solid 4G mid-range SoC, widely implemented in budget phones. Interestingly, the listing states 6GB of RAM, although previous benchmarks hinted at a 4GB model.
Comes with Android 15 out of the box
The other significant reveal is that the Galaxy A07 carries Android 15 as the operating system. This implies Samsung is gearing up to launch its next batch of budget phones with the latest software experience, potentially topped by One UI 7.0. Although Android 15 is yet to roll out in phases, its appearance on a budget phone is a relief for long-term support.
Launch Timeline and Global Availability
Though Samsung has not made the official launch of the Galaxy A07, support pages for the device and that of the Galaxy A17 went live on Samsung Russia’s official website. This follows last year’s launch timeline, where the A06 was launched before the A16. If Samsung continues with the same schedule, the Galaxy A07 may be released in the global market in the coming weeks.
