Realme Neo 8: The Realme Neo 8, the latest model in the Neo series from Oppo’s subsidiary, launched in China on Thursday. It has three color options, an 8,000mAh battery, and support for 80W fast charging. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 CPU powers the Realme Neo 8, it also has up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. It has a triple back camera array with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. The Realme Neo 8 is rated IP66+IP68+IP69 for water and dust resistance.

The base version of the Realme Neo 8, with 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM, costs CNY 2,399 (about Rs. 33,000). The RAM and storage models with 16GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB cost CNY 2,699 (about Rs. 35,000), CNY 2,899 (about Rs. 38,000), CNY 3,199 (about Rs. 41,000), and CNY 3,699 (about Rs. 48,000).
Cyber Purple, Mecha Grey, and Origin White (translated from Chinese) are the colors that the Realme Neo 8 is now offered for sale in China.
Details and Features of the Realme Neo 8
Realme UI 7.0, which is based on Android 16, powers the dual-SIM (nano+nano) Realme Neo 8, it has a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,272×2,772 pixels) AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz. The display is said to have a brightness of up to 3,800 nits because it is constructed of Samsung’s M14 gadgets. It has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor with eight cores, coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
The device has three back cameras: an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with OIS, and a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera with OIS. It has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and making video calls.
For authentication, the Realme Neo 8 has an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor. It is protected from drops and scratches with Crystal Armor Glass. For better signal position optimization, it also comes with the Sky Signal Chip S1. As reported by Realme, the phone will get four years of security upgrades in addition to three significant Android version updates.
