Oppo Reno 14 Pro vs Reno 13 Pro: At first appearance, the two phones appeared to be identical when I held the Oppo Reno 14 Pro and Reno 13 Pro in my hands. The screen quality, size, and design were all essentially the same. Both of them resembled me because of the curved edges, three cameras on the back, and punch hole camera on the front. Although it seemed as though Oppo had taken a “do whatever you want” strategy, there are a few minor variations in the internal features that add uniqueness to the experience.
The Reno 14 Pro’s MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor is a little more recent and potent. I could sense the difference between gaming and multitasking as soon as I unlocked the phone. Simultaneously, the Reno 13 Pro’s MediaTek Dimensity 8350 is likewise good, albeit little weaker. Both include 12GB of RAM, which speeds up app launches and maintains seamless multitasking. I tested social media, video editing, and gaming all at once, and neither phone experienced any issues. But the Reno 14 Pro will feel a little faster if you play some high-end games or edit videos.
Display and images: Clear and bright

Experience with the camera: Enjoy every second
As of the camera, I had a great experience taking pictures with both phones. With the Reno 14 Pro’s 50MP ultra-wide camera, I was able to get excellent group and landscape images. The Reno 13 Pro’s 8MP ultra-wide felt a bit weaker, but the images were still excellent. My close-up photos looked flawless thanks to the phones’ 3.5x optical zoom and OIS features. Both produced crisp images in low light conditions when used for night photography. The 50MP front camera is excellent for selfies and video calls.
Charging and battery: an ongoing companion
The Reno 14 Pro’s 6200mAh battery promised to last me the entire day without needing to be charged. I spent the entire day on social media, playing games, and watching videos, but the battery lasted. For me, the 50W wireless charging was a huge benefit because it made turning the phone on and off charging a breeze. The Reno 13 Pro’s 5800mAh battery was excellent at the same time, however it looked to drain a bit too soon. Both phones charge rapidly thanks to 80W fast charging.
Additional features and connectivity
5G, NFC, and in-display fingerprint are features that are crucial for connectivity and security on both phones. While the Reno 13 Pro features Wi-Fi 6, the Reno 14 Pro supports Wi-Fi 7, which provides higher internet rates. You do not have to worry about rain or dust because both feature IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance. Reverse charging and an infrared blaster are two little but helpful improvements that improved the user experience.
Price verdict: What makes sense given the budget
The price, which is the most key consideration, will now be discussed. At about ₹33,200, the Oppo Reno 14 Pro is a terrific affordable phone, especially for people who want a strong phone without breaking the bank. In addition, the Oppo Reno 13 Pro prices ₹49,999, which is somewhat pricey yet appropriate given its features and capabilities. Reno 13 Pro is also a fantastic choice if you can afford to spend a bit more and want pro features.
