OnePlus Nord 5 vs Realme 14 Pro Plus vs Nothing Phone 3a: The smartphone market of 2025 is going to be a complete money-spinner for camera lovers. Three new phones – OnePlus Nord 5, Realme 14 Pro Plus and Nothing Phone 3a – are ready to give a tough competition to each other. Although the phones of OnePlus and Nothing are still new, but based on leaks, specs and early impressions, we can compare their cameras in a friendly and desi style.

OnePlus Nord

The India launch of OnePlus Nord 5 is on 8 July, and sales are starting from 9 July. It has a 50MP Sony LYT-700 main sensor which supports both OIS and EIS. This sensor gives clarity in low light and stability in videos. The ultra-wide lens is 8MP which also has macro support. The biggest highlight is its 50MP front camera which comes with Samsung JN5 sensor and shoots 4K @ 60fps video. This is a big plus point for selfie and video call lovers. Along with this, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor will further enhance the image quality.

Realme Zoom

Realme 14 Pro Plus grabbed the attention of camera lovers as soon as it was launched in January 2025. The most special thing in this phone is its 50MP periscope telephoto lens, which supports 3x optical and up to 120x digital zoom. This is a perfect combo for zoom and clarity lovers. Its main camera is also 50MP, which gives reliable output for day-to-day photography. The front cam is 32MP, which is good for good selfies, but is light in comparison to the 50MP selfie cam of OnePlus.

Nothing Wide

Nothing Phone 3a attracted ultra-wide lovers with its launch in March 2025. It has a 50MP ultra-wide lens along with a 50MP main camera, which is generally not found in this segment. This phone seems perfect for landscapes, group shots and wide-angle clicks. The third 8MP sensor is likely for macro or depth, but is not much of a highlight. The selfie cam is also 32MP, and Nothing’s software processing is known for its natural and clean look.

Final Verdict

Going by the specs and early reviews, the Realme 14 Pro Plus is the strongest in zoom photography, the Nothing Phone 3a tops ultra-wide shots, and the OnePlus Nord 5 takes the edge in low-light, selfies and video recording. But it’s worth waiting for the detailed camera tests of these phones to take a final decision. For now, these three phones are looking to be one better than the other in their camera game.
