Compact smartphones are making a strong comeback in India, with this time the spotlight on three highly anticipated models: the OnePlus 15s, Vivo X300 FE, and OPPO Reno 15 Mini, tipped for an imminent release. The upcoming launches of devices such as iQOO 15 and the Vivo X300 lineup hint that the industry is primed to see a fresh wave of compact flagships come 2026.
OnePlus 15s Expected Highlights
According to leaks, the OnePlus 15s will replace the OnePlus 13s and may come with a 6.3-inch flat OLED display, which will be paired with a 165Hz refresh rate. The device is tipped to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which will make it apt for high-end gaming and multitasking. Camera upgrades are a major talking point, with a triple setup expected to constitute a 50MP primary lens, a 50MP telephoto shooter, and an ultra-wide lens. The Vivo X300 FE is rumoured to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, unlike last year’s MediaTek processor. This should improve the overall performance and efficiency. It may sport a 6.3-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The camera hardware could remain similar to its predecessor, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom, and an ultra-wide lens. Furthermore, this phone may include a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
OPPO Reno 15 Mini Rumored Details
The OPPO Reno 15 Mini could be the first-ever Mini series in the Reno lineup. Early leaks reveal a compact design, much similar to that of the Reno 15 series. Details are still sparse at this point, but it has been reported that there are certain changes coming to the display between global and China variants.
