OnePlus 13 OxygenOS 15: OnePlus has begun rolling out its new software update, OxygenOS 15.0.0.840, to the OnePlus 13 in India. The update with build number CPH2649_15.0.0.840(EX01) is rolling out in a phased manner and is currently available to a limited number of users. The larger rollout is soon to occur, and it will include several new features and performance improvements across various segments of the device.

Mind Space Feature for Saving Memories
A highlight feature in this release is the “Save to Mind Space” functionality. This provides users with the ability to save screen content as memories, which are automatically summarized and stored. It is a useful feature for organizing and remembering personal or significant events without effort.
Camera Enhancements With AI Perfect Shot
The camera app for the OnePlus 13 has AI Perfect Shot functionality. The intelligent feature detects faces and can merge the best facial expressions from a series of shots from one individual to create a perfect final photo. Portrait and Photo modes also get a soft light filter, which assists in providing smoother and more attractive photos.
Improved Video and Photo Editing
With the update, Photos gets improved editing functionality. Users can now edit live photos and videos directly inside the app, and even export a video as a live photo or convert it to a high-resolution still shot. Album management is enhanced as well, with users being able to now hide certain albums from view. Video editing also becomes quicker, and 120fps clips now preserve their frame rate when edited.
Smarter Multi-tasking With Mini Windows
System-level improvements introduce new multitasking capabilities. The user can now run one app in full-screen mode while another is displayed in a floating mini window, making dual-task usage smoother. Widgets of the same size can now be stacked automatically, and OnePlus Sans and One Sans fonts now support more languages via display settings.
App Updates for Clock and Recorder
The Clock app has added a “Gradual alarm volume” feature that begins at a low volume and gradually gets louder. This is adjustable in the Alarm settings. The Recorder app adds new organization features, enabling users to bundle audio files and automatically sort recordings by category, such as normal, meeting, or interview, into an “In-person recordings” folder.
Better Notifications and Quick Access
A new “Temporarily block” alert feature allows users to swipe up on any banner to temporarily suppress further notifications from that app, great during games or video watching. Quick Settings now features a Restart shortcut for rebooting the device directly.
Improved Mini Windows and New Security Patch
Mini windows now provide a smoother experience and can be moved to the bottom of the screen. One bug related to display has been fixed, enhancing the user experience. Finally, the update includes the July 2025 Android security patch, keeping the OnePlus 13 secure and updated.
