Motorola G73 vs Infinix Zero 5G : The affordable smartphone search market might probably be dominated in the top two contenders for 2025 under ₹17000 by the two handsets: Motorola G73, and Infinix Zero 5G. Performance is not compromised; both phones are 5G-ready, the processors are averagely decent, and the user experience is quite smooth. But which is the better bargain in the end for performance seekers? Let’s analyze it.

Processor and performance

The MediaTek Dimensity 930 processor powers the Motorola G73. Actually, this processor is recognized due to its excellent performance balance and power efficiency. It very much seamlessly performs all regular operations, gaming, and multitasking, but for greater intensity during high-performance usage: a few demanding games or high-end applications. The other hand is placed on the Infinix, but on the older but still quite efficient MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset. There would be a case of some difference in everyday use, although probably slight; however, the G73 would seem to help catch up a little at times, especially during some gaming or using high-end apps.

Display Quality

Motorola G73 features a 120Hz refresh rate, translating to a very smooth scroll and touch response, with a display of 6.5 inches FHD+ LCD panel. It does indeed have 120Hz refresh rate built in along with a 6.78-inch IPS LCD, so it also has a slightly larger display. Fordo is more luminescent, creating quite vivid colors, but Infinix boasts of deeper contrast and brightness levels. However, judging by the screen size, it is more worthwhile for Infinix as it has a more overall favorable display when it comes to view videos and even games.

Camera Comparison

Usually for both devices, their primary camera has 50MP, but in that applied Ultra Pixel technology of camera from Motorola, it makes images better under low light conditions. That is how Infinix Zero 5G cannot take quite the same performance, but depending on what it does, it somehow sharpens its photos even more. From there, it will have a 16MP camera front-facing selfie shooter in the next installation. The Zero 5G features this same feature that gives decent results on both sides, but after judging, something looks better refined with Motorola’s camera software.

Battery and Charging

The Moto G73 comes supported by a 5000mAh battery and 30W fast charging that tethered this device as one highly dependable charging device for quickly topping up power. Yet another 5000mAh battery in the Infinix Zero 5G only consumes 33W in fast charging. Therefore, battery life would be pretty much similar on both devices, but then Google stock Android usually tends to optimize better in overall battery longevity.

Software Experience

There is, even more, goodness brought by Motorola in software experience. Pure stock Android 13, oh yes; the other side is Infinix with a stock android base bloated with a lot of garbage, so it just feels packed in. Essentially, if you like a really smooth experience and not having ads, then obviously, Motorola’s the winner by far.

Both are notable phones under ₹17000 but the edge is most probably to the Motorola G73 since it performs slightly faster, has a better software, and provides a cleaner experience. Thus, if one were to say performance and reliability in the long run, Motorola G73 is certainly the better bet.
